I had a chance to spend a few weeks roaming around this incredibly vast land, following the sound of today and the footsteps of those before me. Too much coffee, too many miles to keep count of. Plenty of beautiful landscape and just enough good people around.
As I was walking that ribbon of highway, I saw above me that endless skyway.
Just started slowly scanning through my pictures. All taken with the old silver fox AT-1, mostly on 35mm slide film. Arkansas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri. Colorado and New Mexico. Still taking it in, all that Americana. Haven't seen nothing yet, but I feel this is just the beginning. As mr. Woody Guthrie put it some time ago:
Nobody living can ever stop me, as I go walking that freedom highway.
Nobody living can ever make me turn back. This land was made for you and me.
